Hamilton, United Kingdom Last Mile Group Full time

Job Advert Details
**About the opportunity**:
We are currently looking for an **Associate Director **responsible for Heat Networks to join our growing Asset Management department at our Hamilton Office or remotely.

Last Mile Asset Management (LMAM) is a part of the broader Last Mile Infrastructure Group that develops, acquires, and manages “last-mile” essential infrastructure in the UK, including electricity, gas, water, wastewater, and heat network connections. It is one of the leaders in the markets that it operates in and has achieved significant growth in recent years with further significant growth expected

We are recruiting for an Associate Director to work for LMAM who will be tasked with developing asset origination, operations, and management capability on behalf of fellow group company Last Mile Heat (“LMH”). LMH is a joint venture between Last Mile Infrastructure and Rendesco providing ground source and water source heat pump infrastructure for new developments. LMH provides housebuilders across the UK with a sustainable and clean energy option for heating properties, as a response to gas boilers being phased out of new build properties from 2024 onwards. LMH is the only dedicated funding platform for heat pump assets in the UK. Its heat pump solutions cover centralised heat pump plant, or decentralised heat pumps connected to an ambient network. LMH funds, owns, and manages the infrastructure assets, which are designed and built by Rendesco. Developers benefit from substantially reduced up-front install costs, and residents receive fair and transparent bills.

The joint venture enables Last Mile to support its customers’ ambitions of lowering the carbon footprint of the domestic and commercial properties they develop, as well as contributing to achieving the UK Government’s 2050 net zero target.

Since inception LMH has generated significant interest amongst developers with quoted work in excess of £200m.
