**Housekeeper**

You will be collectively responsible for all public areas, bedrooms as well as laundry and back of house facilities. An eye for detail is a must to maintain extremely high standards.

You will be the key to ensuring our guests visits are comfortable and enjoyable by creating a fresh and immaculate impression.

**Main responsibilities are**:

- Cleaning all commercial areas of the Hall in line with weekly events calendar; ensure that the hotel is always presentable for viewings/ stays that take place throughout the week as well as weddings / events over a weekend
- Ensuring the highest possible standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout and that guest’s toiletries/ towels are replenished if needed
- Managing laundry: the laundry for SMH is outsourced to a third party but needs sorting, logging and organising.
- Compile, log and report on maintenance issues
- Ensure stock levels are appropriate for e.g. cleaning products, toiletries, bulbs etc. Order spare parts as necessary
- Ensure equipment is organised and stored correctly; register any damage

**Skills and Experience**
- Very well organised; able to follow systems
- Work as part of a team and also comfortable to work on own
- Efficient, time-conscious and manage costs appropriately
- Flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Good verbal English
- Good organisational skills, self-motivation and well-presented appearance are required.
- Experience in a hotel/ private house would be advantageous.

Hours: 16- 25 hours on average per week. Will include weekend work

Rate of pay: £9.70

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 - 20 per week

**Salary**: From £9.70 per hour
