**Health & Safety Officer**

**Monday to Friday 36 hours per week**

**£40,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience**

**Office based with occasional UK travel**

The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer, to join a well-established manufacturer based in Coalville. As the main point of contact for all health & safety on site, the successful person will be a well-established professional within the sector.

**Scope of the role;**
- Advising all company employees on all HSE requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Maintaining company ISO certification (9001 / 14001 / 45001)
- Continual awareness of changes in legislation and update company literature accordingly
- Carry out site health & safety inspections
- Accident investigation & reporting
- Issuing & control of permits to work
- Carry out internal audits and ensure site is external audit ready

**The person;**
- Experienced as a health & safety advisor in a standalone role, with manufacturing environment experience
- Strong communicator with the confidence to influence across all areas of the business
- Has a hands on approach to health and safety, to continue with the existing strong shop floor support and presence
- Holds NEBOSH general certificate
- Experienced with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 and ideally a qualified IMS internal auditor
