We have a new opportunity to join the team at**Jewson Heathfield Way, Northampton** as a **Tool Hire Assistant**Our Colleagues are critical to our Customers' success and you will be working with a team that proactively supports them in every way possible.

**Is this role right for me?**
- A keen interest in DIY or working with various tools at home on projects.
- Customer Service experience
- Experience maintaining and repairing equipment, for example mechanical, manufacturing, or similar
- A full, clean driving license is essential for this role

**What will I be doing?**

Our Tool Hire Assistant will be in regular contact with our Customers and therefore play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience. In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will;
- Develop great relationships with new and existing Customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions.
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders
- Organise and carry out tool hire delivery and collection keeping customers updated throughout
- Attach trailers and tow equipment to sites (Will be trained)
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

**Hours of Work**

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm, and every 2nd Saturday, 8am - 12pm
