**Lead Buyer - Facilities Management sector**

Working for a £10m t/o Sub-contractor that has a number of frameworks awarded across London and needing support in their Procurement.

**Location**:

- Romford

**Salary**:

- £30,000 - £35,000 basic + Package

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with this organisation that is a specialist in the Hard FM sector. With more project and Framework awards they are growing their teams and needing support in their procurement processes.

In effect you will be the head of buying as the business has gone through an organisational change to be able to deliver the works they have been awarded. Letting the Operational leads be more focused on delivery and creating a strong support function withthis role being the first within procurement.

Day to day duties with vary but could include:

- Working with the operation leads ensuring parts are ordered effectively and limiting down time.
- Controlling the stock levels to maximise the store space and making it a more efficient processes.
- Responsible for the purchasing activity and for ensuring optimal supplier performance and prices.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and contract management to deliver continuous improvement in delivery of services by the supply base.
- Receiving deliveries and booking goods using company software
- Ensure an adequate supply of PPE is always maintained and accurate log of PPE equipment and uniform is obtained
- Prepare orders in store ready for the following days jobs by placing them into allocating trays for each engineer.

**Required Experience**
- Previous Buying experience is essential, but background / sector is open.
- Experience of running a stores form either a sub-contractor or construction-based environment would be ideal.
