We are looking for new governance professionals to join our talented team. We would love to hear from you whether you are experienced or completely new to the role.

Could this varied and interesting role be what you are looking for?
You will receive full training on all aspects of the role and ongoing support to ensure that you can fulfil the role effectively. The role is based mainly at home but requires attendance at schools for meetings when they are not held remotely. It is a flexible role ideal for those wanting additional hours on top of a current role or wanting part time flexible work. It is especially suitable for those with experience of working in an education setting, but we can provide training for those who can demonstrate they have the skills for the role. Applicants must have their own transport although access to pool cars can be arranged.

Role Responsibilities:
Attend and take accurate minutes and provide advice and guidance at governing board meetings.
Ensure agendas and minutes are circulated within specified timescales.
Be the first point of contact for governors/ trustees in your allocated schools/ academies to support with queries.
Signpost governors / trustees to further advice and support where necessary.
Help prepare agendas for governing board meetings.
You will be supported by a central administration team and be provided with regular training, briefings and updates.

Key Skills:

- Proficient user of Microsoft packages, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrates an understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements in the workplace.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Professional and polite when dealing with colleagues and customers.
