**The Team**

The HR Advisor, Europe, Middle East & East Asia (EMEEA) works closely with and in support of other U.S. HR staff, primarily the HR Business Partner (HRBP) and HR Consultant (HRC) that support across the EMEEA region. In addition, this role collaborates closely with peers and HR colleagues in HR Global Operations (HRGO), Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Organizational Development & Organizational Effectiveness, HR Strategic Planning & People Analytics, the HRBP and HRC team to continuously evaluate and improve HR’s operational efficiency and effectiveness.

**Your Role**

This position reports to the Seattle-based Senior Manager, People & Business Enablement, and is a **two-year limited term employment role**.

**What You'll Do**
- Comes with and continues to develop a solid understanding of UK and European HR compliance and labor law within primarily Europe, and some general understanding of Middle East and East Asia.
- Supports and partners with the Regional Operations Manager on compliance issues for the London and Berlin Offices (e.g. health and safety, data and HR filing, visas and work permits).
- Works in collaboration with the HRBP and HRC to manage regional specific HR issues with staff and serves as a conduit that connects EMEEA based employees with other appropriate HR resources at Seattle headquarters.
- Responds to and efficiently resolves inquiries from employees and managers relating to HR policies and programs; engages HR Center of Excellence (COE) teams, HRBP and HRC when needed for resolution.
- Provides exceptional support to employees on queries related to HR matters (benefits, mobility, etc.).
- Ensures inquiries are managed and tracked in Zendesk; keeps all HR systems updated real-time as required for the role.
- Manages employee and position data in Workday including data entry, integrity, auditing and reporting
- Provides a wide variety of coordination oversight for activities supporting the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to: new hire set-ups for employees and contingent workers, employee relocation and work authorization, onboarding and orientation on HR policies, creation and management of employee files, Learning Management System (LMS) administration, separation agreements, employee and contingent worker departures.
- Collaborates with the HRBP and HRC on the HR Rhythm of Business processes like Performance Partnership, Annual Compensation Review (ACR), Workforce Planning etc., and communicates in a timely manner this information to staff in the Regional Office.
- Partners with the Regional Operations Manager to create and provide onboarding and first day orientation experience for new joiners.
- Partners with HRBP and HRC to impart trainings to new employees and managers on Performance Planning, ACR and other trainings, etc.
- Participates on regional and global HR projects and initiatives.
- Partners with, and supports, the Regional Operations Manager with culture building initiatives for the London and Berlin Offices, including Foundation Weeks, London Home Weeks and other staff focused team building activities.
- Supports with local/regional vendor identification and empanelment/contracting process for various HR activities/interventions.
- Supports with Crisis/Incident Management activities.
- Partners with the HRBP and HRC on the management of HR and foundation leadership visits to the region.
- Reports on HR activities on need basis.

**Your Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree and intermediate level of relevant HR progressive work experience. CIPD desirable.
- Global experience with a multinational organization is highly preferred.
- Experience managing data in an HRIS, preferably Workday, including data entry, integrity, auditing and reporting.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk is preferred.
- Experience co-designing processes and workflows for an HRIS.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, understand and explain HR policies, programs and processes.
- Familiarity with one or more HR specialties/COE
- Solid understanding of UK and European labor law.
- Outstanding customer focus with the business and employees of all levels.
