We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B prison located in Oxfordshire

HMP Bullidngon is a resettlement prison housing males. This site and role provides a fantastic healthcare team, flexibility and a new challenge.

The site currently offers variety of shifts patterns.

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £41265 per annum - depending on experience.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Emergency and urgent care practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- You’ll be playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care
- working as part of a team of primary care nurses, and delivering care to patients both within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/ blocks.
- Thrives on a challenge to provide high-quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients in both primary care and acute care needs in a prison setting
- Performing procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care and cardiac & CVA intervention.

Qualifications required (copy from JD)
- HCPC Registration
- Qualified Paramedic
- Excellent communication skills
- Non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Proven Experience in either: Accident and Emergency, primary care environments or minor injuries/illness Ability to work within a busy environment

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
