**Administrative Assistant - Fleet Department**
**Job Purpose**
The primary objective of this role is to assist with the fleet department to ensure vehicles are serviced, maintained and roadworthy. You will form an integral part of the fleet team, where you will utilise your knowledge and organisational skills.
**Main duties will include**:
- Maintain & update mileage records for each vehicle.
- Maintain servicing and PMI records.
- Liaise with suppliers & lead drivers to book services and repairs.
- Driving license checks.
- To check vehicle temperatures are working correctly.
- To ensure that adequate records are maintained.
- To assist in temperature mapping.
- Download and analyse data using excel.
- Ensuring that daily & weekly vehicle checks are undertaken.
- Other ad-hoc duties, as requested by the Fleet Dept or Management.
To carry out your duties, you should have experience of working in a fleet or transport role. Ideally you would have some knowledge of GDP (Good Distribution Practices) with some experience in the logistics sector including vehicle safety.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
- Good methodical approach, attention to detail and use initiative
- IT Skills
- Good team working skill
- High organisation skills and confidence to work independently
- Excellent Attention to Detail
