**Production Support Engineer**

**Weymouth**

We are looking for a skilled Production Support Engineer to join our team. As the Production Support Engineer, you will provide day to day leadership to the Production Support Engineering team, ensuring all machine and sub-assembly builds are built correctlyto the processes set and any issues found are resolved in a timely and effective manner. You will also work closely with other Manufacturing Engineering departments to ensure the smooth integration of any new process, test, or product.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee production support for the printer build to ensure machines ship on time and at the correct quality standard. Allocate support according to priority.
- Ensure all production documentation (ProWorks) is produced and maintained as required, to ensure products are built to the correct quality within the build process.
- Communicate any design, process, or manufacturing changes, ensuring they are understood and replicated in our Asia facility.
- Liaise with other disciplines or M.E. departments to assist in the development and deployment of test and verification equipment into the manufacturing process both in the UK, Asia and its supporting vendors.
- Ensure all design changes are acted on promptly and flow smoothly into production where possible.
- Attend project meetings and communicate outcomes with all parties within the Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Support and advise the Asia Production Engineering department in any aspect of the production-engineering role and supporting processes.
- Ensure the Production Support team adheres to all policy and procedures and completes all daily tasks in a timely, professional manner.
- Ensure Concession notes are raised and used whenever there is a deviation from process.
- Undertake all work associated with the role in accordance with Health and Safety and Manual Handling Procedures.

Essential Requirements:

- Qualified to HND or actively working towards completion of a similar engineering or manufacturing engineering qualification.
- Minimum of two years' experience working successfully in an engineering-based related role.
- Competent in the use of Creo, NX, or other 3D CAD/CAE tools.
- Experience of successfully managing and completing small to medium projects.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacture and Continuous Improvement and process methodology (6 Sigma/DMAIC).

Desirable Requirements:

- Experience in the use of DFM/DFA and FMEA tools.
- Experienced and competent in leading a team of engineers.
- Able to communicate effectively face to face and in writing with people at various levels in an organization.
- Able to achieve goals/objectives as an individual and also in a team environment.
