**The purpose of this job**:
As the **Product Manager** for this leading manufacturing company, you will be responsible for **maximising sales opportunities** and facilitating and implementing product strategies in support of our client's overall objectives. Working closely with the **design and technical teams**, you will assist in the development and execution of **technical**solutions for customer requirements.

**Your Product Manager responsibilities**:

- Assess and evaluate customer needs, providing **technical expertise** and product education to new and existing customers, whilst liaising with estimators to produce quotes.
- **Identify new sales opportunities**, following up on leads to attain targeted growth objectives, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Working closely with the design team to develop the best **technical solution for the customer**, whilst collaborating with the customer service team to proactively progress orders to completion.
- Developing and maintaining **excellent relationships with customers**, offering after sales service and support with training and assistance, resolving issues and difficulties in a manner consistent with the company's values.
- Maintain a **strong level of product and technology knowledge**, driving development of products and supporting platforms, whilst developing and executing digital marketing strategy.
- **Log customer sales enquiries into the CRM system**, whilst preparing pricing and sales reports.
- Travel as needed to **support customers** and trade show activities and attend and contribute to sales meetings as required.

**As Product Manager you will have**:

- Excellent **communications skills**:

- Ability to work quickly and accurately to **meet deadlines**, completing work to a **high standard**:

- Ability to **work well under pressure** and prioritise workload
- A good level of experience working in a similar **Sales role**:

- Experience in **Digital Marketing**, and **Account** and **Project Management**:

- Excellent knowledge of **Microsoft Software**:

- Experience of **engineering** and/or **electronics industry would be desirable but not essential**
