Accounts Assistant- Maternity Cover

Applus (UK) is currently recruiting an Part Time Accounts Assistant to work at our Great Yarmouth Office. This is a fixed term contract of 9+ months to cover a period of Maternity leave working 30 hours per week. We are looking for a team player, with a positive can do attitude. The successful applicant should have a strong finance background and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel & Word.

Applus is a leading global energy service provider, delivering technical assurance through non-destructive testing, inspection, and certification to the capital-intensive, high-risk energy, utility and infrastructure industries in every region of the world

**Duties include**:

- Assist in month end close
- Processing of subcontractor invoices
- Processing of weekly timesheets
- Processing of customer invoices
- Assist in resolving accounting issues
- Keep all files/systems up to date
- Deal with day to day communications/enquiries

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Must have experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines with the minimum of supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

**Desirable**:

- Oil and Gas Industry Background
- Knowledge of SAP
