**Overview**

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator (6 month FTC) to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our finance department to ensure timely and accurate payment of wages, salaries, and benefits. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential as you reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and produce financial reports. This role is predominately homebased with the requirement to travel to meetings approximately once a month.

As part of the support for Luna pay, there may be a requirement to work up to 3 nights every 4 weeks.

**How will you contribute?**
- You will be responsible for accurately processing and managing the company's payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
- We expect you to maintain employee records in compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies, including tax codes, benefits information, and employment contracts.
- You shall collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing of new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other payroll-related actions.
- We expect you to validate timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to attendance, overtime, or leave.
- You will prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements to management and employees, providing clear and concise documentation of earnings, deductions, and taxes.
- We expect you to stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and guidelines, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure legal compliance.
- You shall respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and providing timely and accurate information.
- We expect you to assist in the preparation of annual audits and support the finance team in gathering payroll data for financial reporting purposes.

**What will you bring?**
- You must have a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
- Experience with Oracle payroll
- You should be able to efficiently calculate and process employee wages and benefits.
- We expect you to maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, including tax deductions and withholdings.
- You must possess excellent knowledge of relevant payroll software and systems.
- We require you to stay updated on legal requirements and changes in payroll procedures.
- You should have good communication skills to effectively address payroll-related queries from employees or external stakeholders.
- We value attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and reporting.
- You must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Have a basic understanding of how to manually calculate Tax, National Insurance and Parental Leave.
