**Job Role **The Family Respect Team are looking for a hard-working and resilient individual to take on the Domestic Abuse Worker role to primarily support parents and carers as the victims of Child and Adolescent to Parent Violence (CAPVA).

**Skills and Experience **In summary, you will have the following qualities:

- A sound understanding of domestic abuse and the wider statutory/non-statutory systems which support victims of domestic abuse.
- Relevant qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to assess and manage risk.
- A current driving licence and access to a car for work.

**Contracted days and hours **You will be contracted to work 18 per week, worked flexibly Monday - Friday in agreement with your line manager. The role is likely to involve some evening work when necessary.

This role will be offered on a fixed term contract basis ending January 2024, with potential for extension dependant on funding.

**Salary and Benefits **In return we offer an annual salary of £15,191 (£16.23 ph). Additional benefits include:

- 5 weeks annual holiday plus public holiday allowance (Pro rata)
