**Job Description**:
We are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team
Your responsibilities will include:
**Assessment**: Assessing allegations of abuse or neglect. This may involve interviewing the child, the child's parents or carers, and other professionals who have contact with the child.**Investigation**: Investigating allegations of abuse or neglect. This may involve gathering evidence, speaking to witnesses, and conducting home visits.**Safety planning**: Developing and implementing safety plans to protect children from harm. This may involve working with the child and their family to identify risks and to put strategies in place to manage those risks.**Support**: Supporting children and their families to recover from trauma. This may involve providing counseling, therapy, and other support services.**Legal proceedings**: Representing children in legal proceedings. This may involve attending court hearings and providing evidence to the court.
