You will manage a defined caseload and will carry out Occupational therapy assessments, treatment and evaluation of this intervention to identify mental and physical barriers to an individual service user's level of function in daily life-skill activities.

At Arbury Court, you will work with the service user on an individual or group work basis to enable and rehabilitate their level of function in these activities in order to maximise independence.

Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will support and engage in team activities, such as mental health assessments, team risk assessment, and team audit/service development.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- To plan and implement individual and or group interventions, using skills to assess, grade, modify and review and evaluate clinical intervention to deliver therapeutic goals and maximised functional independence and rehabilitation potential within clinicalspecialist area.
- To undertake Occupational Therapy assessments which will identify factors affecting the service user's functional performance. These factors may include physical as well as mental health barriers to function.
- To work in partnership with the service users to establish realistic and achievable Occupational Therapy goals and contribute to the overall multi-disciplinary treatment approach.
- As part of the multi-disciplinary team the post holder will contribute to and participate in the multi-disciplinary assessment process, for example risk assessment, single shared assessment, and mental health assessments.

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered with Health Care Professions Council ( HCPC)
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions
- Developing critical analysis skills.
- Membership with the British Association of Occupational Therapist ( BAOT)
- Ability to demonstrate person centred care through the use of a range of communication skills to facilitate caring relationships and effective team work.
- To demonstrate caring and compassionate behaviours with service users, family/friends and colleagues, maintain dignity and respect within all interactions and therapeutic interventions.
