We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and visually stunning video content that will captivate audiences. You will work closely with our creative team to edit, enhance, and transform raw footage into polished videos.

Our output is wide and varied, and you'll be working on branded content for social media campaigns, corporate communication pieces, creative comms campaign content, and screen content for live events.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Utilise your expertise in video editing to create compelling and high-quality video content.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and deliver videos that meet the brief.
- Edit and assemble video footage, ensuring seamless transitions, visual coherence, and overall storytelling.
- Enhance videos with effects, graphics, and animations using After Effects to elevate the visual impact.
- Ensure the audio quality is excellent, including adjusting sound levels, adding background music and effects, and incorporating voiceovers when necessary.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to maintain video and audio standards throughout the editing process.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing, motion graphics, and visual effects, integrating them into your work when appropriate.
- Manage and organise video assets, maintaining an efficient file structure and backup system.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Proven experience as a Video Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of After Effects, with the ability to create visually stunning motion graphics.
- Excellent understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and frame rates, ensuring optimal output for various platforms.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing, along with a keen eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of pre and post-production processes, including video capturing, colour grading, sound design, and video compression.
- Familiarity with audio editing software and the ability to manipulate audio tracks effectively**.**
