This position plays a vital role in assisting the Executive Assistant (EA) in running the day to day of a busy office. The Administration Assistant provides administrative support to the EA and office.

The individual will be confident, efficient, trustworthy, resourceful, a good problem solver, with exceptional organisational skills to enable them to multi-task, along with a positive can-do attitude.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be our main point of contact for visitors, recording attendance, issuing visitor badge and Hi-Viz and direct them to the appropriate office or staff member
- Respond to the public questions and requests for information if needed
- Answer the departmental telephone and distribute messages to the appropriate personnel in the absence of the Customer Service team
- Distributing all incoming post
- Arrange couriers and manage outgoing post, maintenance of the franking machine
- Book meeting rooms for all staff when required
- Be our main point of contact for BT queries and 02
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Administrator on office projects
- Raising POs for the Engineering department and EA
- Raising POs for Commercial team
- Responsible for ordering stationary
- Support with office expenses via ExpenseIn
- Be our main point of contact for our cleaning company, ensuring clear communication and BRC standards
- With direction from the EA, organise our company events
- Assist in updating our company noticeboards with our Junior Brand Manager to continue employee engagement across sites and maintain our One Team ethos
- Communicate on behalf of the EA, when necessary, on MyMaldon
- Liaise with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and produce our company newsletter monthly
- Responsible for sending samples on behalf of our Marketing & Sales Team

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required**
- 1-2 years previous experience in administration
- Strong MS Office skills
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to take instruction and run small projects

**Qualifications**:

- 2 GCSE’s A-C (9-5) in English & Maths
- Secretarial/administration training and qualifications desirable

**Hours and Location**
- 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Based at our Head Office in Wycke Hill Business Park, Maldon, Essex, CM9 6UZ
