**Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper, based in Chertsey, £30-32,500**

Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm

Due to continuous growth our client requires an experienced bookkeeper to work alongside the Finance Director. In addition to the day-to-day operations, there will be an additional focus with regards to improvement of efficiency and financial planning across the company.

Experience is essential, and a thorough understanding of Sage is required. You will be working alongside other departments within the business, and therefore must be able to employ great communication skills.

**Requirements of the role**
- Detailed operational knowledge of Sage
- Supplier invoice reconciliation and payments
- Bank reconciliation and payments
- Credit/Fuel card reconciliations
- Operation of Direct Debit system
- Credit control & debtors
- Journals for salaries & wages
- Preparing & submitting VAT returns
- Liaison with Accountants regarding Management Accounts
- Cashflow & Budget projections
- HMRC, NEST & Payroll management
- Building a strong rapport and effective relationships with existing clients
- Organised & structured approach to problem solving and planning
- Pro-active communicator across all company departments
- Pro-active approach to work and improvements

**About You**
- Experienced & confident in role
- Detailed operational knowledge of MS Office suite and Sage
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Good customer service skills

Due to the office location you will need your own transport.
