**Assistant Fleet Manager - Chertsey**

**Requirements of Assistant Fleet Manager**:
You will be responsible for Fleet & Driver compliance and training with some elements of Health & Safety.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the National Fleet Manager with day to day driver and fleet management.
- Managing compliance via regular audits and weekly reporting of driver's hours regulations
- Develop the Driving team to the highest company standards.
- Ensure all compliance paperwork is filed correctly and securely in line with GDPR.
- Conduct weekly audits across all locations - minimum 3 per week.
- Ensuring company systems are being used correctly.
- Ensure accident and incident reporting policy and procedures are followed including referral to Insurers.
- Lead the Pre-production Compliance meetings, working closely with the Head of department and Account Manager teams.
- Maintain and evolve relationships with third party sub-contractors, agency staff and clients.
- Identify opportunities for improved practices within the site.
- Manage the Driver Training/Assessing team ensuring all assessments are carried out in a timely manner with relevant documentation recorded.

**Essential requirements**:

- Fleet/Transport Manager CPC - you will be the one of the named CPC Managers for the site
- Knowledge of Operator Licence Regulations
- Exceptional customer service.
- Experience of Compliance Auditing Processes.
- Flexible in working hours to ensure contact time with day, evening and weekend shifts and be available for out of hours communication where required.
- Good analytic and numerical skills

**Desirable**:

- International Fleet/Transport Managers CPC
- Knowledge of Fleet Maintenance Systems.
- Training experience and or qualification
