**The role**

You will be providing a variety of non-medical services to help our clients stay independent in their own home, including:

- Support with shopping and errands
- Meal preparation
- Light household duties
- Companionship
- Assistance with dressing
- Administering medication
- Assistance with personal care.

**Qualifications**:
Particular qualifications are** **not required to become a Care Professional with Home Instead as you will receive full training and support from our operations team. However, it may be useful to have some experience of a care setting, such as supporting a family member or voluntary experience.
- Have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
- Be dependable, trustworthy and respectful.
- Enjoy building trusting relationships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

**Please note**: Due to the nature of this role, some clients may require you to drive them to appointments or they may live in more remote/rural areas, therefore a valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
