We are very excited to be recruiting for a Personnel/HR Administrator to work for a highly established business based in Halesowen.
The role will report into the Team Leader.
The main objective of the role will be to working flexibly as part of a team providing exceptional administration skills supporting the recruitment process and other key operational functions
The main duties will be:

- You will be the main point of contact for the recruitment and selection process.- Responsibility for collation of job descriptions and person specifications,- Posting of adverts on internal and external sites, organising the selection process, taking care of the interview arrangements on the day,- To ensure all recruitment related documentation (both paper and electronic) are stored logically and within the requirements of the data protection policy.- Initiating and tracking paperwork relating to employee absence, this includes recording of absences on Civica HR system.- Administration of maternity and paternity policies including meeting with employees to discuss entitlements, administration of letters and liaison with payroll.- Supporting the Personnel Team Leader in ensuring resignations, retirements and dismissals are processed accurately and timely and providing a good leaving experience.- Liaising with the payroll team to ensure starter, leavers and contractual changes processed as appropriate.- Involvement with HR data audit and cleansing.- Providing generalist administration support to the HR team through answering incoming HR calls, acting as a liaison point for staff queries, following through day-to-day changes by updating systems.- Ability to use own initiative- Willing to be proactive in taking on work- Ability to prioritise the variety of workloads on a time critical basis- Flexibility and willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks as the need arises- Positive attitude- Personable with good telephone manner- Previous administrative experience is essentialIn return the company will provide an excellent Pension fund, a healthy holiday allowance, all of Christmas off and a place to join where they hardly have any movement of staff
