GBS Apprenticeships are recruiting for a Skill Coach in Business Administration and Functional skills to join their delivery team.

**Qualifications**

Essential:

- Teaching qualification at PTTLS or equivalent
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
- Experience of working within the FE sector, in particular, knowledge of Apprenticeships

**Roles/Responsibilities**

Main responsibilities:

- Support your learners, employers and internal customers
- Use and promote the use of our quality and business systems
- Support change and continuous improvement
- To ensure you are working in accordance with company safety procedures and guidelines
- To ensure accidents, near misses or incidents are reported to the correct person in a timely manner
- To ensure that any safeguarding incidents are reported to the Designated Safeguarding Lead in a timely manner
- To work in accordance to GBS Apprenticeships quality and compliance processes
- To use the approved company recourses with delivery teaching and learning
- Use the company systems for tracking learner progression
- Use e-portfolio’s as part of your daily work
- Use BKSB as part of your teaching and learning
- Work in conjunction with Quality and Compliance team to help prepare for Teaching Observations, OFSTED Visits and audits.
- Work in conjunction with your line manager and the Quality and Compliance team to ensure that portfolios are made available for audit in a timely manner.
- Ensure that corrective actions identified from your portfolio audits are completed in a timely manner.
- Co-ordinate with your line manager to make yourself available for standardisation meetings, continuous development and team meetings.
- Co-operate with GBS Apprenticeships Delivery Manager to plan your caseloads to ensure that teaching and invigilation activities are carried out in a cost effective manner and in accordance with quality & compliance requirements
- Conduct invigilation activities using the approved resources
- Provide individualised feedback to your learners in a timely manner
- Provide feedback to the GBS Apprenticeships Delivery Manager in a timely manner, ensuring that any issues which effect the learners development and timely completion are clearly communicated
- Communicate any changes to teaching or individualised learning plans to the following people in a timely manner
- Submit all funding provider and qualification documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate learner withdrawals to the GBS Apprenticeships Delivery Manager and the administration team in a timely manner, submitting funding provider documentation
- Manage any problems or issues that may impact on timely completion by working closely with the GBS Apprenticeships Delivery Manager to resolve any issues which will prevent learners from completing in a timely manner.
- To carry out any reasonable request made by your Line Manager.

**Salary, Contract Term and Employee Benefits**

9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday

Location: Remote with travel

**Salary**: £26,000 - £32,000 per year
