Tax Administration Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Tax team. This unique role will include working closely with our Tax Managers dealing with ad-hoc matters arising whilst performing their duties. This will include a wide range of duties including administrative work in relation to property matters, insurance work to miscellaneous financial administration.

The main tasks and responsibilities of the role include:

- Liaising with third parties to deal with ad-hoc matters
- Assisting the Tax Department staff with administration issues
- Aiding the administration of checking, relaying, obtaining, and chasing information from clients
- Liaising with clients as and when required.
- Use a variety of administration and accounting systems
- Undertake scanning and filing
- Have a Business Administration NVQ L3 or have undertaken a business administration apprenticeship or equivalent
- Recent experience working in an office environment
- Exceptional organisational skills and administrative skills
- The ability to check work for accuracy and have good attention to detail
- Be able to demonstrate your initiative to solve problems
- Be flexible and proactive in managing multiple priorities
- Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience in a financial, legal, or tax department or experience with the issues encountered in running a household would be advantageous.
