We design and manufacture products and tooling for the Automotive industries. We also are the manufacturing company behind RED Winches and all their products. Serving people globally with our engineering design and manufacturing.
Within the role you will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) and parts, according to production schedules. You will be hands on withing the stores areas as well as plan and schedule material/production needs. All this leading to supporting the internal team in the deliveries of finished products to the customer. You will also suggest improvements in processes and procedures as situations change and we need to adapt.
Within the role, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and updating the manufacturing planning and scheduling system to ensure it is accurate and dates are met from our manufacturing department and our supply base.
- Running supply & demand reports, managing working schedules, optimizing inventory and process improvements using the planning system which includes spreadsheets.
- Exchanging data and information throughout the process
- Ensuring operational alignment with planning and inventory
- Hands on handling of parts from raw material to finished goods as required to ensure areas and their processes are maintained.
Using problem-solving methodology to steer Continuous Improvement
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have engineering / manufacturing experience of working in an engineering / manufacturing admin / scheduling or planning role.
- Have experience with scheduling systems, Excel or MRP.
- Have experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment, interfacing directly with shop floor and office team members as well as suppliers.
- Be a good team player, enjoy collaborating and solving problems with others

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
