**Job Title: Design Studio Host**

**Location: London**

**Pay Range/details: £35,000 per annum**

**Contract Type: Permanent**

My client, based in London, is looking to recruit a Design Studio Host to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the London Design Studio & Showroom.

**Key Responsibilities - Design Studio Host
- Acting as First Point of Contact welcoming colleagues, customers and clients in a warm and friendly manner
- Answering and directing phone calls promptly and professionally
- Arranging hospitality requirements for meetings
- Maintaining showroom and communal areas ensuring pristine condition at all times
- Managing local contracts ensuring adherence to frequency
- Ensuring literature and samples are displayed professionally and replenished when needed
- Operating standard office equipment on a regular basis
- Receiving mail and deliveries; sorting and distributing accordingly
- Taking inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Maintaining the general office filing system
- Reporting maintenance issues to relevant parties
- Facilitating product viewings with homeowners, architects and specifiers, demonstrating samples as required
- Organising event invites & confirmations
- Diarising all Design Studio activities into a shared calendar
- Preparing for and co-host networking and customer events
- Maintaining a log of visitors to the Studio

**Qualifications & Requirements - Design Studio Host
- Knowledge of windows, doors, curtain wall and other façade systems is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone
- Prompt timekeeping and able to meet deadlines
- IT literate - including Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a customer facing role, ideally within a similar environment
- Previous experience within a sales-based role is desirable but not essential
