Location: Normanton, West Yorkshire
**Salary**: Up to £35,000 DOE
Term: Permanent, Full Time
Shift: - Monday to Friday - 40hrs per week
My client started in 2006 and since then their turnover has grown to circa £300m per annum, and they now employ 1,200 colleagues at their state of the art operation in Normanton. They are dynamic, driven and totally focussed on satisfying their customers fromstart to finish; from innovative product development right through to consumer feedback and they are looking for like-minded individuals to join us.
This is an office based role for someone who can run Warehouse Management Systems and supporting with inventory and transport systems running in excel. Experience in Stock management, Inventory and Distribution with proven, excellent skills and experience
Main responsibilities will include:
- Managing good in schedules
- Planning and forecasting
- Cycle counts
- Stock allocation and accuracy
- Producing reports for data analysis
- Stock management and cost analysis
- KPIs for picking ratios, production cycles, labour requirements
- Project managing new system integration
- Supply chain end to end
- WMS User
- Excel Advanced User
- Managing 2 x supervisors’ inventory and distribution with 15 reports to them
- Confident individual with the ability to make key decisions
- People development
- Leaderships
- Must be a good problem solver with the ability to identify issues and resolve these in a timely manner
- Must be able an excellent communicator both written and verbally
- Must be able to prioritise and plan own work activities to use time effectively
- Must be organised with attention to detail
- Must be able to liaise with customers and global suppliers
- Must be confident with Excel
- Must be dependable and able to follow instructions and able to demonstrate the ability to work with little supervision
- Must be a team player
- Self motivated, highly resilient and tenacious with a “can do - will do” attitude
- Great all round administrative skills with strong PC skills; ideally MS Office
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to work with changing demands
