Cast UK are supporting a fantastic client with the recruitment of a Logistics Administrator at their fast-paced operation based in Chester. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for processing all orders correctly and dealing with Customer queries that come into the business. The role is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs per week and is based on-site in Chester.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process the export and import of instrument products worldwide
- Accurately process shipping data
- Prepare transportation schedules and plan routes
- Follow up between transport and customers
- Build positive relationships with internal departments, suppliers and clients
- Monitor and identify issues and trends
- Contribute ideas which will improve our ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Methodical approach to problem solving and attention to detail
- Ability to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis reports
- Communicate with all depots around the day to day operations and maximising vehicle utilisation

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional Administration expertise, ideally within a logistics or distribution environment
- Great telephone manner and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Team player, supportive of colleagues
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
