Roof Safety Solutions are specialists at working at height, providing design, installation, training, testing and maintenance of a wide range of roof safety and access systems, including but not limited to; fall arrest/restraint systems, fixed/freestanding guardrail, access walkways, abseil systems, ladders, step ups/overs, eyebolts to mention a few. We deal with a varied range of clients, including roofers, main contractors, architects and end clients.

Due to substantial growth over the last couple of years, we are looking to employee a working at height safety system installer to join our fantastic team, to help keep up the excellent service we provide to our customers and continue our growth.

Job Title: Working at Height Safety Systems Installer

Location: United Kingdom (Travelling to various site locations across the UK)

Site Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

28 Days Holiday inc Bank Holidays

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Working at Height Safety Systems Installer to join our team. As a Working at Height Safety Systems Installer, you will be responsible for installing a range of safety systems at various site locations throughout the UK. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe installation of fall restraint / fall arrest systems, guardrails, ladders, abseil systems, walkways, eye bolts, step ups/ overs, and other related equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Travel to different site locations across the UK to install working at height safety systems.
- Follow detailed installation plans and specifications to ensure accurate and safe installation.
- Installation of fall restraint / fall arrest systems, guardrails, ladders, abseil systems, walkways, eye bolts, step ups / overs and other relevant safety equipment according to industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to coordinate installation activities and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Provide guidance and support to clients regarding the proper use and maintenance of installed safety systems.
- Document installation activities, including progress reports, inspection reports, sign off sheets and any issues encountered during the installation process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to working at height safety systems.
- Assist with maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Working at Height Safety Systems Installer or a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of working at height regulations, safety standards, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with a wide range of safety systems, including fall restraint / fall arrest systems, guardrails, ladders, abseil systems, walkways, eye bolts, step ups / overs etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, team members, and site supervisors.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different site locations across the UK.
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
