We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with lived experience of using Mental Health services, to act as our Quality Strategyy Coproduction and Lived Experience lead. This is for a fixed term period initially, in order to support a project in our Inpatient and Urgent Care Division.

The postholder will receive line management and support from within the Quality and Nursing Directorate, but will work closely with colleagues in the Adult Inpatient and Urgent Care Division, including LPFT staff, patients and their families.

This is a new role, and as such as an exciting expansion to our existing network of staff who have lived experience of using Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism services.

**The post holder will**:
Work alongside the Divisional and the Quality leads to co-design quality improvement initiatives for the Adult Inpatient and Urgent Care division.

Co-design outcome measures that capture service user experience and carer experience in relation to person centred, evidence led, trauma informed, and strengths-based approaches to care.

Work closely with the Divisional and Quality leads to embed the principles of co-produced quality improvements in the Adult Inpatient and Urgent Care division.

Ensure the service user and carer voice are at the core of any proposed changes.

Support all quality improvement initiatives to be person centred, evidence led, trauma informed, and strengths-based.

Liaise with other Lived Experience leads to ensure clarity of care pathways and partnerships within this programme of work.

Build collaborative professional relationships across the Health community in Lincolnshire to ensure good alignment/fit with the identified needs of the people of Lincolnshire, including links with Healthwatch and VCSE organisations.

Work with workstream leads, colleagues, partner organisations, service users, their carers and families to ensure co-production in terms of scope, planning, design and the delivery of workstreams / projects within the programme.

Carry out semi-structured interviews as part of the quality improvement work, with the client, family members and other agencies involved with the client.

Be able to work effectively in an environment that may be highly emotive, for example, with distressed clients, staff or family members.

Deal appropriately with situations requiring sensitivity and empathy.

Support the delivery of coproduced care pathways through the workstream projects to a high standard and in a cost effective manner.

Act as a point of escalation for the workstream leads within the programme in relation to coproduction and providing and promoting resolution.

Work with members of the project team to proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions for the broader strategic implementation of the quality strategy.

Provide leadership and participation in relevant internal and external working groups and giving advice and sharing expertise/ support on matters relate to coproduction with those who have lived experience.

Forge close working relationships across LPFT to facilitate effective coproduced outcomes.

Comply with and carry out safe practice in accordance with Trust policies and procedures, appropriate Codes of Conduct, and other relevant local guidance.
