An UHNW family in an idyllic village-setting are seeking an experienced and qualified Nanny Housekeeper with a focus on working with children on the autistic spectrum. The role involves caring for 3 children, a 3 year old girl, and 5 year old twins, one girl, one boy. B5 is on the autistic spectrum, and requires individual support. Responsibilities involve providing compassionate care to the children, assisting with their daily routine, planning age-appropriate activities, sensory integration, behaviour management, and providing a safe and stimulating play environment. The ideal nanny will foster a warm and nurturing relationship with the children, promoting trust, security and emotional stability.

Light housekeeping duties include tidying children’s spaces, laundry, meal preparation and food shopping. The family have a cleaner, so the nanny/housekeeper would need to collaborate and communicate effectively with the cleaner, to ensure all tasks are maintained through the week. Duties would be distributed as 30% Nannying, and 70% Housekeeper, with a view to increase to 50|50. Flexibility is essential for this role, as the family’s schedule often changes.

A separate cottage in the village will be rented by the family, for the Nanny. A car can also be provided for use whilst on duty.

Location of the job: Corfe Castle

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of 5 years experience, experience and understanding of autism spectrum disorders, with knowledge of effective strategies for supporting children with autism.

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 Childcare Qualification required, Paediatric First Aid required

Hours of work: 9am - 7pm

Days required: 5 days per week (alternating weekends)
