Line managing a multidisciplinary team of up to 30 Technicians and Team Managers, responsible for the maintenance of over 30,000 items of Medical, IT and Audio Visual equipment with an asset value of over £70m, the post holder will also be responsible for the effective control of departmental budget of £1.25m and maintenance contracts valued at approximately £2.5m. Supporting clinical services, the EME Services Officer is responsible for the operational aspects of Medical Device Management, ensuring Medical Devices remain, safe, accurate, functional and available for patient use. This involves developing, implementing and continually reviewing maintenance practices and schedules to ensure suitability and efficiency.
