We are looking for a Purchasing & Planning Assistant to join a busy and well-established Manufacturing Company based in Sandy Bedfordshire.

You will be supporting two different departments within the business.

The job function involves the following:
**Purchasing department**
- Raise Purchase Orders via MRP.
- Review the purchasing information from the ERP system and place orders with suppliers in a timely manner.
- Check Purchase Order Acknowledgements.
- Checking the purchase orders with Suppliers acknowledgements for prices and confirmed delivery dates and adjust orders on system to match acknowledgements.
- Matching up delivery notes with purchase orders.
- Checking that the goods have been booked in the system correctly and then match with the purchase order to be sent to accounts department for invoicing.
- Chasing overdue purchase orders from suppliers.

**Planning department**
- Raising works orders from MRP system.
- Review the MRP for works order requirement for production and collate paperwork together.
- Stock adjustments
- Maintain the stock levels on ERP system (booking route cards off the system and adjusting stock where necessary).

**Requirements**:

- **You must have administrative experience within an office environment.**:

- The ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
- Good communication skills as you will be speaking with suppliers

**Hours of work**

Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
