Office Assistant

Join a vibrant team in the **heart of Rochester's Medway City Estate**. Our client, a leading supplier in Pipe & Drainage Systems and associated products, is seeking a skilled **Transport Administrator **to become an integral part of their busy transport team.
Working on a temporary basis, you'll handle a range of administrative tasks critical to maintaining efficient logistics operations. This is an opportunity to join a company known for their **industry expertise **and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
**The Role**
- Create and manage invoices and raise purchase orders accurately.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
- Input essential data into the system to track shipments and maintain records.
- Maintain organised and accessible filing systems.
- Monitor and check driver hours in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the transport team to optimise logistics operations.
**What do we need from you?**
- Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- A background in transport operations is a significant advantage although not essential as full training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and using computer systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
**The Offer**
- **Monday to Friday**, 8:30 AM - 5 PM
