A design-led, central Edinburgh brand has an exciting opportunity for an organised, commercially minded Product Admin to join their talented and highly collaborative team.
- 3 days per week
- Hybrid working - 1 office day per week
- Salary: £18,000-£20,000 pro rata

Busy B stationery is carefully designed with thoughtful ideas and gorgeous details to help busy women be the most they can be. With sales of £3m via high street multiples such as John Lewis and Waterstones, BusyB.co.uk and Amazon, the company is looking for someone special to join their Product team.

**Job description**:
The Product Admin will support the Product team throughout the production process of Busy B products at all stages from initial concept sample request through to final delivery. You will need to be well organised and have great attention to detail to be successful in this role. At times the deadlines are challenging and being able to work accurately under pressure is important.

The role will be an integral part of the broader Busy B team where excellent communication skills will be pivotal to success. You will be working across departments, sharing accurate information with the internal Sales and Marketing teams as well as liaising with external suppliers in the UK, Far East and Europe. Your day will be varied and never the same as the season progresses however it will be an important part of the wider company, and supply chain.

**The Main Responsibilities are**:

- Manage key dates with suppliers in line with the Critical Path
- Assist with seasonal research on competitor products and pricing
- Ownership of the meeting room displays and ensuring samples are always up to date
- Ownership of archiving and cataloguing old samples
- Take notes in key meetings, especially at early stage of the NPD process
- Prepare packages and arrange for DHL shipments as required (in bound and out bound)
- Coordinate the ordering and dispatching of all samples as per the needs of the sales and marketing teams. Regularly tracking these to ensure delivery on their required due date.
- Ownership of sample management and labelling within the office
- Preparing products for bi-annual photoshoots (pack shot and lifestyle)
- Issue artwork to suppliers, communicate any required changes and receive updated copies for approval
- Responsible for collating accurate content and information in the master template - used for Amazon and Busy B website (entering product copy, weights, dimensions, sku and RRP etc)
- Register all products with patent office
- Prepare Shipping Notes by Market and Country
- Receive, review and file all shipping documents
- Issue packing lists to Sales Manager and warehouses to book stock in
- Receive label requirements for National Accounts and issue these
- Receive and review Label PDF’s from suppliers for approval (products, inner, outer)
- Update freight rate cost trackers each month
- Continually review the FSC Certificate database and supplier Sedex reports, update records as required
- Supporting production and design teams in peak times, providing assistance where required
- Ad hoc office duties as required

**Key Skills & Attributes**:

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
