A well established FMCG company are looking for an experienced Direct Mail Manager to join their fast-paced D2C marketing team. This key role covers full project management responsibility of their printed catalogues/brochures and ownership of the directmail programmes across all channels.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To manage the analysis, planning, timing and prioritisation of all print related marketing activity
- To be the key contact for all upcoming catalogues/brochures/leaflets with responsibility for smooth scheduling, production, and release
- Manage the direct mail campaign strategy and execution built behind a strong commercial rationale with targeted measurement of success metrics such as ROI, conversion, and revenue
- Deliver effective Audience messaging. Collaborate with Audience teams on segmentation, A/B split testing and targeting, message customization, and audience-first thinking.
- Review direct mail marketing costs and ensure procurement of goods and services is robust, thorough and offers optimum value for money
- Liaise between internal teams and external partners for incoming catalogue projects
- Set and manage all project timeline expectations, expedite efficient project workflow, and promote unrelenting creative excellence
- Manage and execute established production schedules and manage print production projects
- Work closely with the design agency, print, and mailing houses to ensure deadlines and budgets are met for artwork and content
- Identify areas of efficiencies and implement improvements in process flow

**Person Specification**
- Previous experience within publishing, media or print industry - highly desirable
- Previous experience with sales driving, direct response literature and campaigns - B2C/Retail Marketing
- Excellent relationship-building and relationship-management skills with the ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Data driven and strong on numerical analysis
- An eye for creative detail and direction
- Confident when liaising with design agencies, print and mailing houses
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment, able to operate and collaborate across multiple teams, pivot and adapt to change, and thrive in a fast-paced culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office packages
- Process driven with the ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Proven experience of relationship management / account management of vendors and suppliers
- Have a sound understanding of the production print process
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and proactively communicate with employees at all levels
- Must be able to demonstrate key commercial skills, budget management and able to identify areas of cost saving or sales growth
