With the support of the Transport Supervisor, daily tasks would include the following:

- Be computer literate with experience of using MS office - excel is a must
- Ability to remain calm and deal with difficult situations in a professional manner
- Be well organised as this is a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Transport knowledge - experience would be desired as you will be communicating and dealing face to face with drivers and the customer. Knowledge around Tachographs, infringements and working hours desirable
- Have a strong safety focus
- Memos and communications with drivers
- Near miss reporting, recording and preparing for presentation to Contract Manager
- Accident / Incident / Near miss investigation, reporting and recording for presentation to Contract Manager
- Back to work interviews with drivers
- Recording of returned and cancelled Gas deliveries
- Weekly VOR report, daily yard check
- Other duties as required

Hours are flexible but normally 0800 - 1600 or 0830 - 1630, with half hour unpaid break.

Pay: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
