We have an exciting short-term opportunity for you to support with the maintenance and monitoring of two of our largest people systems here at YAS This would be the perfect opportunity for someone to dive into a short-term position, where you can quickly develop and enhance transferable skills within a healthcare setting, surrounded by a supportive and friendly team.

You will play a key role in ensuring that the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and Empactis systems are used to their full potential, supporting the development, implementation and delivery of identified ESR and Empactis related projects, as well as supporting all staff across the Trust

We are looking to recruit to this position on a full time basis (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. Please note, this position is only available up until 31-03-2024.

This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for systems, data and problem solving. Working well as a cohesive and supportive team is very important to us, so we would be looking for someone who can build strong working relationships and show respect for all colleagues and end-users.

**The key tasks will include**:
- Providing support to employees and managers in relation to ESR and Empactis queries.
- To provide general helpdesk support to the users of ESR and Empactis including education in respect of functionality, user guidance and best practice.
- To support organisational change and ensuring the hierarchy is accurately reflected on the ESR system, including setting up new positions, as directed.
- Deputising for the People Systems Manager, where required.

- Maintain effective communication channels and working relationships with HR, Finance, Business Intelligence, Global Rostering System (GRS) and Oracle Learning Management (OLM) colleagues.
- Able to persuade and encourage staff and managers to ensure that they use ESR and Empactis effectively.
- Train staff and key stakeholders on the functionality of ESR and Empactis.
- Act as first point of contact for employees and managers in relation to ESR and Empactis queries, e.g., login issues and system access requests.
- Provide day-to-day support to users, diagnose and remedy errors or malfunctions on ESR and Empactis, providing feedback to the People Systems Manager.
- Encourage and support the identification and practical implementation of ideas for service improvements for self or key stakeholders.
- Maintain ESR information and records, checking accuracy of data and undertaking regular data cleansing.
