**What is the day job?**
Heading up our Marketing Team, you will be accountable for curating, communicating, and delivering our Marketing Strategy. With a bias on Food and Beverage (F&B) and Events, you’ll work in tight partnership with key players to bring the strategy to life and enhance our brand, services and products.

- **Marketing & Brand Strategy**_
Develop and deliver a strategic marketing plan across our portfolio of hotels that underpins our company objectives and values.
Develop and enhance the Brightstar brand to support our portfolio growth agenda, as well as showcase what we do and what we stand for (‘our personality’).
Be a brand ambassador to ensure quality and consistency of marketing initiatives and activity across our marketing activities and channels, with an eye on integrated content.
Seek out and seize opportunities for commercial growth, with particular emphasis on events and F&B.
**Digital & Social Marketing**
Oversee the content plan and be part of shaping engaging digital creative content that excites and engages customers, as well as showcases our successes.
Lead our web strategy ensuring all our websites (hotels & corporate) are best in class
Develop dynamic social content that is SEO focussed, generates new leads and helps us stand out from the crowd.
Develop close partnerships with major social platforms such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, to foster an environment of innovation and be first up for trailing new tools and techniques.
Closely manage third-party content providers/agencies, to ensure it is relevant and representative of the brand, and engage with designers where relevant to elevate materials.
**Reporting & Analysis**
Demonstrate solid ability to report on web & digital activities, alongside making strategic recommendations.
Show a continuous drive to innovate and enhance services and ways of working across Marketing that ensures marketing can demonstrate a positive impact on the customer experience and on prospective guests.
Reflect and report on initiative effectiveness, utilising tools like Google Analytics, analysing the ROI and ensuring value-add.
Undertake continuous analysis of the competitor environment and consumer trends and the voice of expertise within the business.
Generate metrics and narrative for owner reporting that showcases the impact of our marketing efforts.
Encourage the use online advertising to increase market reach, business conversion and community growth within the Marketing Team and business.
**Other**
Produce promotional literature and visual aids to support direct sales efforts.
Have an eye for design - Oversee key collateral roll-outs, including menus and promotional items.
Work closely with our Head of People & Comms to enhance the effectiveness of internal communications.
Work closely with the Head of Development to promote Brightstar Hospitality as a partner of choice for hotel owners
Keep up to date with the latest technology in Digital Marketing and make sound recommendations to the business.
Instruct agencies that will support various marketing tasks
Hotel marketing experience is preferred, but not mandatory
