A huge transformation programme in Essex is opening up a number of exciting opportunities for community mental health professionals who have an interest for crisis care and working as part of multi-disciplinary teams across acute, mental health and community services. These opportunities will challenge traditional models of mental health provision to prevent escalation of mental health crises and develop true community-based, integrated and systemic services.

EPUT offer a fantastic relocation package of up to £8,000. Covering a number of expenditures for new recruits relocating from 30 miles or more from their new work base at EPUT.

The Clinical Team Lead will be based at Rochford Hospital in Rochford and will be responsible for providing senior clinical leadership and advice within the Emergency Response Service, offering a crisis response to patients 24/7.

The specialist practitioner will provide clinical leadership and day to day coordination of clinical practice to support the effective delivery of care across the Crisis Network.

There will be a need for you and the team to work closely with other services such as police, ambulance and the local authority and other local partnership agencies to ensure the effectiveness of outcomes following crisis assessment.

You will be part of making change, while developing your own skills and forging a progressive career pathway. We will support and invest in any further clinical training, and leadership development.

Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.

All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.
