A great opportunity has become available within the Unipart Security Department for a Licensed Security Officer to join our in-house team at Somercotes, near Alfreton.

The successful applicant will be guaranteed a minimum of 36 hours per week, working 12-hour dayshifts on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday each week.

**Duties will include (but are not limited to)**:

- Providing a robust security service for our People, Product & Property at all times.
- Conducting gatehouse duties - seal checks, booking vehicles in/out, vehicle searches, communicating site rules to drivers.
- Conducting ad-hoc searches of site staff, contractors and/or visitors.
- Conducting ad-hoc internal and external site patrols.
- Reporting of incidents and completing relevant reports
- Reporting any H&S breaches and/or concerns.
- CCTV monitoring.
- Assisting with fire alarm tests and site evacuations.
- Responding to fire and/or intruder alarms where required.
- Issue and control staff and visitor access cards.
- Providing a courteous, professional and welcoming atmosphere for all clients, their representatives and visitors to the company.
- Meeting the requirements of the site Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

**Essential requirements for this role are**:

- A valid SIA license.
- A 5-year checkable history.
