The Pink Rose Suite (Breast Care Unit) provides screening and diagnostic services for patients in the Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole areas.

As a team we provide a high quality, comprehensive nursing service to all patients and users accessing the unit. We ensure a high standard of patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

We are looking for a senior healthcare assistant who is forward thinking, proactive, and is willing to learn new skills. If you have the skills required for the role and you can work as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as independently, we would like to hear from you.

Healthcare assistants play an essential role in the smooth running of the breast clinics.

The smooth running of symptomatic clinics and results clinics.

Working with all members of the breast team to assist in the chaperoning and efficient movement of patients around the breast unit.

Ensure clinics start on time

Completing clinics with notes and paperwork correctly filed and clinic rooms stocked and tidied.

Caring for patients who have received bad news and caring for those patients who are going through cancer treatment.

A requirement of the role is to position and manoeuvre patients and equipment on a daily basis.

To assist clinicians with breast biopsies and undertake simple dressings as required.
