**The Opportunity**

We are looking to recruit for a Logistics Planner to be based at our Plymouth Regional Office. Where after your initial training period will have the option to split your work between the office and home, wherever you feel more effective.

Covering Monday-Friday days across a 40 hour week you’ll work within a close knit team to plan Asphalt and Aggregates deliveries across the region. You’ll be responsible for organising the schedule for up to 60 trucks on same or next day deliveries.

You'll liaise with our drivers and other internal teams to anticipate any potential issues or delays. For our customer service team to keep our clients informed.

You'll develop positive working relationships work hauliers and assist in negotiating haulage rates.

**Who you are**

You'll take pride in your organisation skills.

You’ll be computer literate.

You’ll ideally have some experience working in logistics or the building materials industry.

You’ll also have good geographical knowledge of the area.
