**Hours: 40 per week, Core hours 9am to 5.30pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am to 12pm**

**Location: Coleshill, B46**

Central Cab Care is based in its own purpose-designed and conveniently located premises at the heart of the Midlands motorway network in Coleshill. It works with several major insurers, insurance brokers and accident management companies offering a national plated vehicle replacement service, usually within 24 hours of the client’s accident.

The business is a Tier 1 credit hire provider and they manage a large fleet of vehicles, including black cabs, saloons, estates, MPVs, mini-buses, prestige vehicles and disabled-access vehicles.

Central Cab Care is located 10 minutes’ drive from either the M6 and M42 as well as being 5 minutes’ walk away from Coleshill Parkway Railway Station which has excellent links with Birmingham New Street and Nuneaton. There is also free onsite, secure car parking available for all staff members.

The main duties of the role include:

- Liaise with customers and be their first point of contact to gather information for assessing a claim and providing a replacement taxi.
- Proactively communicate with internal departments in accordance with company service levels to ensure that accurate taxi vehicle hire requirements are known and acted on.
- Be a point of contact for customers for updates on the claim process and vehicle hire arrangements.
- Develop technical knowledge to assess motor accident circumstances to determine accident liability and gather evidence to prove liability.
- Keep quality records of information gathered to process an insurance claim abiding by regulatory and company requirements.
- Manage caseloads of claims by using a diary system and communicating with all internal and external parties involved to provide the best service to the customer and secure the hire arrangements for the business.

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

- Previous experience in a busy customer services and administration role
- Proactive in solving problems and organising own workload
- A quick learner with a natural ability to understand processes and technical information
- A background in an insurance or credit hire business would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
- A good overall ability with technology including Microsoft office packages
- A good standard of education
