**About The Role**

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Premier League Football Club and a unique culture that is admired across the world. The Head of Safeguarding is a senior position, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Club providesan effective welfare and safeguarding service across the organisation.

Of course, the Head of Safeguarding will ensure the Club complies with all statutory duties in relation to welfare and safeguarding and will also lead on delivering the Club’s Safeguarding strategy, ensuring the compliance of all the Club’s operations -Leicester City Football Club Men and Women as well as the Leicester City in the Community Trust - in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the Premier League, The Football Association and other stakeholders.

With the support of the HR Director and wider Safeguarding team, you’ll play an active role in the life of the Club ensuring all staff are inducted, trained and kept aware of the role all staff play in protecting the welfare of children and at risk adultsin their interactions with LCFC.

As well as demonstrating proven capability and knowledge of Safeguarding matters, you’ll be confident in your ability to build influential relationships with colleagues across a variety of job roles and departments.

Football may not be your sport, but you’ll have worked in safeguarding capacity in a diverse organisation, combining energy and experience as you demonstrate your capabilities to communicate and influence at all levels across the business.It is your integrity,skill and ability to inspire and lead others - direct reports as well as senior stakeholders - that will really stand you out from the crowd.

**About The Club**

Knowing some of the history of Leicester City Football Club helps you appreciate the sense of community, spirit and family for which the Foxes are renowned for.

Formed in 1884, the Club has been in the Premier League since 2014 when the Foxes were promoted as Championship winners. In 2016, Leicester City became Premier League champions.
