Early Morning Newspaper Delivery Driver

4am-8am working hours. Working days discussed at interview / trail shift

Start in Weymouth for your first pickup, then travel to Dorchester to pick up the rest of your papers and start your route, finishing back in Weymouth normally before 8am. 4 hours minimum pay. Overtime paid, Bonus for finishing on time.

Fuel expenses paid, you will need to use your own vehicle.

You will need a smartphone will data allowance to record deliveries in real time on the app.

We are currently looking for drivers to work 1 or 2 mornings per week, this is negotiable and can be discussed at interview/trail shift

**Duties**:

- Safely and efficiently transport goods to customers' locations
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Complete necessary paperwork and log all deliveries accurately
- Deliver Accurately as per instruction on app

**Skills**:

- Valid driver's license
- High attention to detail
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (desirable)
- Be physically fit as this is a very active role. Requires a small amount of heavy lifting and a lot of leg work
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members
- Ability to work independently, and effectively manage your own workload
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
