- Regular interactions with the NERC DEI Manager and collaboration with a range of partners, including supporting engagement and communications

- Collation and analysis of EDI metrics
- Delivery of the NERC EDI Action Plan
- Prepare communications for internal and external platforms
- Develop future evidence-based EDI initiatives

**About you**

Are you looking for the next step in your career, and want to assist with the delivery of BGS’s new strategy?

In this role, you will help with the design and development of new EDI initiatives, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of existing actions through the gathering of quantitative and qualitative evidence. You will also support communications and engagement between NERC Head Office and other NERC Centres, as well as internal engagement with BGS staff.

The post may require occasional travel within the UK (to visit other BGS sites, or for workshops with partners). This role presents an excellent opportunity to develop extensive networking with many BGS/NERC/UKRI colleagues at all levels.

**Please note - you will be required to have the appropriate level of security screening/vetting required for the role. UKRI reserves the right to run or re-run security clearance as required during your employment.**
