**Automated Logic** (Carrier's company) designs, manufactures, installs, and services hardware and software for Building Automation Systems (BAS). Our BAS, called WebCTRL®, provides web-based control and energy management capability for owners and operators of commercial building HVAC and lighting systems. Automated Logic systems are used in commercial office buildings, health care institutions, educational facilities, critical mission facilities, government buildings, retail facilities, hospitality and entertainment facilities and industrial plants. With over 150 authorized ALC branches and dealers, ALC enjoys a growing share of segment worldwide.
**About the role**:
The VPS-E will possess excellent sales presentation skills as well as a thorough technical understanding of building automation systems and controls contracting. This self-starter will work effectively with a wide range of analytical, strategic, business development responsibilities. The VPS-E will have a confirmed working history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving aptitude. Outstanding leadership capabilities, a high degree of personal integrity, interpersonal skills and abilities are a must.
**As a Vice President of Sales you will be responsible for**:
- Travelling as required (60% - 70%) to customer/prospect sites, sales conferences, trade group events and other related activities/events
- Managing sales opportunities within CRM systems, supporting all aspects of lead management and driving quarterly and annual sales growth
- Being active in webinars and other outbound messaging by sales and marketing
- Participating in industry associations, meetings, and speaking engagements
- Continually refining and reviewing Sale’s process, forecasting methodology, and sales tools to support change and efficiency improvement
- Quarterly business reports to the President
- Working closely with President, VP Products and others on global strategic planning initiatives to align with business area strategy
**To be successful in the role you should have**:
- ** Progressive sales experience in Building Technology background (BMS / Building Automation / Controls)**:
- Experience in leading dispersed sales team
- At least Bachelor’s degree (MBA - will be an asset)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver consistently
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others across functional teams
- Up-to-date on new technologies and applies new knowledge and techniques to the job
- Detailed understanding of sales channels and distribution
- Leadership skills to motivate and support sales team
- Ability to engage with customers at all level of the organization
