**JOB DESCRIPTION**

I am an elderly lady who loves in Denholm, and I am looking for someone to assist

me in the evenings to help me get ready for bed. I have a physical disability caused

by my arthritis and other ailments. I have another carer who helps me in the

mornings, and I would like you to work together, occasionally covering each others’

absences and holidays.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and getting me into my nightwear;
- Help me to tidy up at the end of the day, so I can move safely around my

home.

**Personal Attributes**
- You will be caring and patient with me;
- You will be honest, trustworthy and reliable;
- You will respect my need for privacy and confidentiality;
- You will have a good sense of humour, and be able to use your initiative.

**Hours of Work**

Each day I am looking for a carer at the following times:
8.00p.m for 30 to 60 minutes - this time can be negotiated for the right person.

**The Terms**
- £11.50 per hour;
- Mileage allowance from home to home;
- 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro-rata basis.
