**JOB DESCRIPTION**

I am a 92 year old lady who lives in Denholm. I am looking for a caring, patient and

helpful individual to join my small team of carers. I require visits every weekend for

both lunch and dinner times to prepare and support me to eat my meals, and at

bedtime to help get me ready and settled into bed. Times are very flexible for the

right individual(s), as is the number of visits you can help me with.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve my meals, and gently encourage and support me to eat and

drink;***
- Prompt me to take my medication;***
- Assist me to get ready for bed, and settle me for the night;***
- Ensure I am safe, and keep me orientated to the time of day.**
**Personal Attributes**
- You will be caring and patient with me;
- You will be honest, trustworthy and reliable;
- You will be encouraging and reassuring;
- You will respect my need for privacy and confidentiality;

**Hours of Work - Weekends only -**

30 minutes between 12 noon to 1.30p.m;
30 minutes between 4.30p.m and 6.00p.m;***

One hour starting around 7.00p.m to 7.30p.m each evening.***

Times of visits can be flexible for the right person, and consideration will be given to

those who can only do some or all of the hours required..

**The Terms**
- £11.50 per hour;
- A contribution towards mileage can be discussed;
- 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro-rata basis.
